Two Passengers Get Into Mid-Air Fight Aboard Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight From London, Video Goes Viral

Two male passengers aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from London to Bangladesh got into a physical fight after a heated argument escalated mid-flight, sending a wave of panic through the cabin and prompting cabin crew and fellow travellers to step in and separate the men. The incident came to light on September 17, 2026, when video of the scuffle spread on social media.
Argument Turns Physical Mid-Air
According to reports, a verbal dispute between the two men quickly turned physical, with the pair exchanging blows as the confrontation intensified. One of the men’s shirts was reportedly torn during the scuffle. The commotion frightened nearby travellers, including children and elderly passengers, several of whom were visibly shaken as the fight unfolded.
Crew And Fellow Passengers Step In
Cabin crew members rushed to the scene and, along with other passengers, managed to separate the two men and defuse the situation before it could escalate further. No injuries have been reported.
Video Goes Viral On Social Media
Footage of the altercation, apparently filmed by a fellow passenger, was shared widely on social media, including on X (formerly Twitter), where it quickly drew attention and renewed scrutiny of unruly passenger behaviour on commercial flights.
Airline Yet To Confirm Cause
What triggered the dispute between the two men remains unclear. When contacted by the Dhaka Tribune, Mahbubuddin Ahmed, Biman’s general manager (public relations), said he was not yet aware of the incident and was looking into it. The airline has not said whether any action will be taken against the passengers involved.
Reports have not identified the flight number or where the aircraft landed, and accounts differ on its direction: the Dhaka Tribune described a flight from London to Bangladesh, while some outlets described it as a Dhaka–London service.
